Silicon Manganese (in bulk)

Description

Silicon-manganese an alloy of silicon and manganese. It is used as a deoxidiser and an alloying element in the production of steel.

Made in an electric arc furnace. It contains 60 - 75% manganese and 15-20% silicon, 2% carbon and the rest iron.

Experience has shown that this cargo does not emit toxic gases. It is, nevertheless, recommended to ventilate the container before unpacking.
