Freeze-dried Products

Description

Freeze-dried products are very hygroscopic, and should be packed in moisture-proof material, inside cartons.

These products should be protected against moisture and light. Oxygen will make any fats rancid, and light will bleach many materials. The products are very brittle and may disintegrate to powder form with rough handling. Frozen potatoes such as chips, if allowed to thaw and then re-frozen will disintegrated when cooked.
