(Soap-stone powder, Talcum powder)
Soft rock shipped in lumps or as powder and mainly packed in bags. The stone requires a dry
stowage in a GP container with innerliner fitted and other cargoes should be protected against dust
contamination. Steatite is sensitive to odor.
